I have four caterpillars today 9/25/07 which will likely pupate within the next 48 hours. What will happen to them? I have been told that they will not emerge from their chrysalis. I have heard (but I don't recollect where) that some Monarchs do not migrate but actually winter as other butterflies do. Is htere any truth to this?
