Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/24/2007

Number: 1

Many years we have Monarch roosts on the grounds of my workplace - Linda Hall Library - in Kansas City. A roost was noted yesterday (Sept. 24th) in some oak trees. Our grounds are treated as an urban arboretum and so this is probably why we often see these roosts.

Editor's Note: This observer did not specify the number of monarchs present. We entered 'one' in the number field only to mark this record for future consideration.
