Signs of Fall

What a beautiful day! Clouds of butterflies. There were 4 Questionmarks on the oranges. Monarchs adorned the newly blossomed Maximillian Sunflowers. Orange Crowned Warblers, Gold Finch, Downey Woodpecker, and Chipping Sparrows were visitors to our "Backyard Habitat". The cushion mums are SO ready to bloom. The sedum (Autumn Joy) is blooming with many of the Blue Hairs (probably MY name for species I can't recall), Painted Ladies and American Painted Ladies, Pearly Cresents, some Skippers, and several species of bees and other pollinators. Ahhhhh, Kansas!
