Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/27/2007

Number: 1

For the last few weeks the students in my fourth grade class have been observing monarch eggs, larvae, and an occasional adult as they appear in our classroom garden. We have brought the larvae inside and all are now in their pupa stage (23 total). We will tag and release them as soon as they emerge! Our milkweed patch has been reduced, but still has a few plants with leaves left.We will also test our adults for the Monarch Health project at UGA.
