Spotted a Monarch flying at Willow River State Park near Hudson, WI about 2:00 p.m. yesterday.
I'm glad to see late emerging Monarchs, but very worried about their chances of making a successful migration.
Although this is not technically a "migration sighting", it seems to me that documenting the last of the Monarchs to emerge and migrate is as important as documenting the first. The "last" begin their migrations right now.
