Today had the strongest sightings of the year to date. Total count of Monarchs in flight today was "85"!!!!!!!!!! The day was in the 70F plus full of sunshine and gentle breeze....perfect for our little Monarch friends. My sightings began at 10:30AM CST and continued throughout the day until 5PM. The strongest sighting were from 10:30 to 1:30...it was actually hard to keep up with the count BUT exciteing. In addition to the total count there were 3 dead Monarchs on the Hwy.54 in Osage Beach (in our immediate area).
