Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/27/2007

Number: 1

On 09/25/07, I witnessed about three to four Monarchs flying in the late afternoon (5 PM CST) in the thirty miles between Sedalia, Missouri and Calhoun, Missouri. All were flying low.
Temperatures were a good 20 degrees cooler than they had been just days before and we had significant rainfall that we desparately needed. A breeze was also blowing.

Today 09/27/07, I only saw three Monarchs on the same 30 mile trip at approximately 4PM CST. Temperatures were about 10 degrees warmer than on Saturday. Today was partly cloudy, and the wind was much less.
