Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 09/30/2007

Number: 1

The two caterpillars which had been feeding voraciously have stopped. One shed its skin and formed the chrysalis today. The other is putting down its "silk" or "web" base and button. Have lost sight of the small one outside on the butterfly plant. Saw three butterflies floating around our front and back yards. Very windy today and yesterday. Temps have dropped twenty degrees in the past two hours.
