With no sightings for a week I had surprise visits from three Monarchs while I was doing a Butterfly program in the Northern Thumb Area in Michigan. Apparently they knew that they were supposed to be there for my program. I have no idea where they could have come from that far north on a dead end route and this late. by the way it was 41 degrees 6 am this morning so they had a slow start.
