Ola! Mi nombre es Maestra Carabello. I am a teacher in a small preschool in a small town in southwestern New Hampshire, USA. We started our school year on August 29th and have been collecting milkweed and Monarch caterpillars for the children to observe and learn about the lifecycle of butterflies. We have 25 children between the ages of 3 and 5. We have all been very excited to watch the caterpillars change and emerge as beautiful butterflies. The children have been taking turns releasing them in our school flower garden. We have already released 11 Monarchs and still have a few more that have not yet emerged from their chrysalis. We hope to be sending them all on their journey to Mexico very soon! Adios!
