1 glorious whooping crane mixed in a field FULL of sandhill cranes to the immediate east of #5 Highlands tee @Moon Lake Golf & Country Club, Wed Oct 3/07 approximately 10:30 am. This golf club is located 10-15 minutes southwest of Saskatoon, Sk just off Valley Rd. This was my 1st whooper sighting, but am confident beyond doubt this was indeed a whooper. Was pure white & taller than the sandhills. Exciting to say the least...
