This morning at 11:10 AM I saw 31 White Pelicans floating over Ponca City. Their flight was generally directional, but they sure were taking their time enjoying the scenery I guess. Their altitude was around 400 feet I would estimate. Those are the most awesome birds I've ever observed either on the water or in the air. I caught one on a rod and reel about 20 years ago! (It was NOT on purpose, I promise!)
