Since last weekend, our 3rd Graders have observed 132 monarchs in flight. The weather here has been unseasonably warm days (ranging from the low 80s to the low 90s) and cool nights (in the low 60s). The days have been sunny and breezy.

We attend school in a suburban area of our state capital. Most of our homes though, which is where we've observed the monarchs, are in a rural area.
