Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/03/2007

Number: 1

This afternoon I went home for my lunch break and happened to look up. Lo and behold, the monarchs are in full migration. I would estimate at least 100-150 every 2 or 3 minutes were going over and those were the ones I was able to see. Many were very high up and looked like dots where they would circle and play with one another. Others had that end point only on their minds and were flying fast and straight. All were flying from NE to SW. We used to see many fly over our place but it has been a long time since I have seen anything like this. Made me very glad. Something is working.
