Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/08/2007

Number: 1

My second graders saw our last monarch on Monday (Oct. 8) when we were coming in from noon recess. The monarch was still nectaring on some fall asters when we came in at 2:20 later that day. The temperatures were in the 80s. Today we are in the 50s. Temperatures are supposed to be more seasonable for the rest of the week. Our normal high for this time of October is around 60 degrees.
