Number: 1

My habitat project was designed primarily for butterflies but has attracted other denizens as well. This is the first year that I have seen hummingbirds in my yard. Since establishing the garden this year I have documented at least 25 individual species of butterflies, perhaps twice as many as the previous year. Monarchs, Queens and Black Swallowtails have been reproducing quite abundantly. I seem to see more caterpillars every day. Late in the season I've been seeing many large yellow Sulphurs.
