Many of our preK through first grade classes have studied the life cycle of the Monarch butterly. The children love the butterflies so we have planted several gardens for them. Future plantings are being planned to create habitat for the butterflies. Our kindergarten and first grade students are excited about participating in the symbolic migration and I look forward to the teaching opportunity when they return in the spring.
