Yesterday, we mailed our butterflies to Mexico!
We sent 80 butterflies from 2 Grade 2 classes, 1 Grade 2/3 Class, 1 Grade 3 Class and our Mariposa Mondays butterfly club.

We have been doing many things to create awareness about Monarch butterflies including playing games, visiting our science lab to learn about insects and watching a video called "Butterfly King". Next we are going to be participating in the Monarch Quilt Block Exchange and imporivng our school gardens to help out Monarchs.
