Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/11/2007

Number: 1

Yesterday (10/10) the monarchs were flying over sporadically. This evening from about 5:50 to 6:30 they were flying over in a steady stream. Some looked like birds coming at first because of their size. Some were very high in the sky while others were lower down even coming to feed at the flowers in my yard. I enjoy watching all butterflies, but look forward to the fall migration of the monarchs each fall. I plant flowers and plants to attract butterflies into my yard.
