My name is Cathy and I am a teacher of the gifted and talented students in grades 1-5 in Harris County, Georgia, U.S.A. We have sent monarchs to Mexico for 9 years and have planted milkweek in several locations over time. This year my 2nd and 3rd grade students made and sent symbolic monarchs. Students have learned to become good ambassadors and to appreciate our good neighbors to the south who take such good care of the monarchs.
