Our third grade classes (Mrs. Kurash and Mrs. Siegler) have been raising,tagging and releasing monarchs this fall. We have a beautiful butterfly garden including lots of milkweed at our school. We enjoyed working with our Spanish teacher to select the phrases and learn about Mexico. In addition to learning about insects, we have been learning to be good stewards to the environment and good ambassadors for Vermont. Our classes want children and teachers to know that we appreciate what you are doing to help Monarchs and other wildlife thrive. Thank you. Nuestras clases del tercero grado han crecido, han marcado y han libertado los monarchas este otoño. Aquí en la escuela nuestra tenemos un jardin hermoso para las mariposas. Ademas hay algondoncillos para las orugas durante el verano. Aprovechamos colaborar con la maestra de Español para seleccionar las frases y aprender sobre México. Aprendimos sobre los insectos y que más estamos aprendiendo como cuidar el medio ambiente y como ser embajadores buenos para nuestro estado de Vermont. Nuestras clases queremos que sepan los niños y los maestros Mexicanos que somos muy agradecidos por sus esfuerzos a supoyar a vivir bien los monarcas y otro creaturas silvestres. ¡Gracias!
