Hit the mother lode - Saturday, October 13, 2007, 11:50, 368 W. 7th Ave., Ship Bottom, NJ. Went to take Maggie out and I thought leaves were falling from the trees and blowing across the yard - oh no - it was a flock of Monarchs - landing all over the yard - too numerous to count - what a sight, what a pleasure to see.

Editor's Note: This observer did not specify the number of monarchs present, although the roost appears to have been large.
