Our larvae feeding bed is coming along nicely. We added to our common milkweed and butterfly weed bed this fall and now have swamp and marsh milkweed in the mix. We are hoping these 20+ plants spread nicely for an even better brood next year. We also added another bed with strictly nectaring plants. These plants were scattered about our yard so we decided to divide them and create a monarch haven. We think they'll really enjoy the results - one stop nectaring! Once a few of our smaller butterfly bushes go dormant we will move them near the two beds for an additional treat for them. It's a labor or love as we so enjoy observing the monarch!
