We planted 77 tulip bulbs in front of the Mound Elementary sign, on the Northeast side of the building. Our heaviest tulip bulb was 10 teddy weights. Our lightest bulbs were 5 teddy weights. All of the bulbs were 1.5 to 2 inches tall. The average diameter was 7 inches. Today's weather was partly sunny, partly cloudy, cool and very windy. It rained a lot this week, but our soil was perfect for planting. We were excited to plant our tulips today! 8 of us predict they will emerge at the end of March. 12 of us predict they will emerge at the beginning of April.
