Our winter wren has returned for about the 10th year.
Comes every Sept or Oct. Seems like must be same bird. How else could a new bird learn the secluded spot. Sleeps in dried wreath right at front door.After a week or so does not even get botherd by our comings and goings. So does anyone know if this is unusual? We even change the wreath 4 yrs ago and still came back to stay the winter. CAme early this year ..maybe getting older weaker?
