I was running on the bike trail through town at 4:00 this afternoon when a lone monarch flew up in the air from beside the trail. I was just thinking about a mile back that I had probably seen my last monarch until next May and then this one appears. Our temps were in the 60s yesterday and we reached 74 today with a south wind.
