Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/24/2007

Number: 1

The temperature yesterday was cool and rainy but today we saw the sun again and it was very warm (+15C) this afternoon,so I planted my journey north tulip garden. There are 6 red emperors; 5 white emperors; and a handful of daffodils in the same garden. The soil is still quite warm - there were lots of worms and some grubs and ants wriggling around in the garden.
I have been helping three schools in the area plant their tulip gardens, and you will hear from them soon. Thank you Journey North, and Mary, for this great way of tracking the return of spring.
