Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/25/2007

Number: 1

Our new tulip bulbs are planted in the flower garden surrounding the flagpole in the front of our school. Since it has been a very warm fall here in Minnesota, we delayed the planting and definitely will not be covering our beds for several weeks yet.

The older bulbs were dug up and split and are now planted in areas around the school grounds along with other types of bulbs.

Our naturalist, Pete Cleary, has been in the gardens for over a week now helping our K-4 students turn over the new beds and replant the original bed with the new Red Emperors.
