Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/25/2007

Number: 1

I had an interesting day here in Portland, The Monarchs came though the yard in steady numbers all day and there was a steady stream of Monarchs all day on the causeway leading to Corpus Christi. Other butterflies, too: In the yard, the lantana was covered
with Skippers, at least one species of Blues and at least 2 Scallowwing. The most interesting of the day was a single Zebra Longwing moved through the back yard and on my banana bait I had a single Mourning Cloak. The
Zebra and the Mourning Cloak are first for me in Portland.
