Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/24/2007

Number: 200

The last two or three days (10/24-26) there have been hundreds of monarchs
observed on Anahuac NWR. I had about ~300 in the Willows at Anahuac
this
morning warming up in the sun.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 200 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “hundreds.”
