Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/25/2007

Number: 2000

Got a phone call from someone reporting 1000s of monarchs in pecan trees last night (10/25) along the San Bernard River in Brazoria, Texas. They were gone this morning.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 2000 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “thousands.”
