Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 10/28/2007

Number: 1

We are in Port Aransas on vacation. Since Wednesday evening, 10/24/07, we have observed hundreds of flying Monarch butterflies. They appear to be flying from the south, as if they have flown in from the Gulf, but the wind may have blown them in such a way that that is not an accurate observation. We saw the most butterflies on 10/25 and 10/26, but still are seeing several.
