I planted my Journey North tulip garden today in sunny and warm conditions, 58F. This is the eighth month in a row of warmer than average weather in Minnesota. And last winter we had very little snowfall. I haven't seen the computer models for this winter yet, but The Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a much below-normal snowfall. Hmmm, how might the lack of insulating snow and other climate changes affect my bulbs? I'm hoping for a near-normal winter so I don't have to refer to Minnesota as Missouri-sota!
