Number: 300

Saw several hundred monarchs the evening of the 28th and the morning of the 29th. May be the tail end of the main flight south. Many appear to be having trouble keeping up and we saw about 30 dead on the ground after they moved out in the morning.

Editor’s Note: We are estimating 300 monarchs based on observer’s estimate of “several hundred.”
