I was on Matagorda Island last Friday and Saturday (Oct 26 - 27) and all day long, both days, the Monarch migration was remarkable along the first 100 yards of beach and grass/dunes on the Gulf side of the island. There were literally MILLIONS and MILLIONS of Monarchs steadily moving southward. It was impressive.
