Greetings! All of the fourth graders at St. Raphael School colored beautiful paper butterflies during their library class...a total of 91! I mailed them on Thursday, October 11 from the Bay Village post office. This is our second year to do this. Thanks to our friends in Mexico (and Minnesota!) for such a wonderful learning experience! Someday I would like to travel to Mexico and see the monarch sanctuaries and meet some Mexican students and teachers. We look forward to hearing from you in the spring! (I am using the computer to translate to Spanish - thank you to Mrs. Paponetti who teaches Spanish, for checking it over for me!)

¡Saludos! Todos los estudiantes del cuarto grado en la Escuela de San Rafael han decorado mariposas de papel durante sus clases en la biblioteca. Envié un total de 91 mariposas hermosas el 11 de octubre (jueves) de la oficina de correos en el pueble de Bay Village. Gracias a nuestros amigos en México (y Minnesota) por esta experiencia maravillosa. Algún día, me gustaría viajar a México y ver los santuarios de las monarcas y reunirme con algunos estudiantes y profesores mexicanos. Nos encantaría oír de ustedes en la primavera.
