Number: 200
We had large numbers along the coast at Quintana October 28. I do not have any pictures, but the Monarch roosts looked similar to your photos. You had to drive very slowly to avoid hitting the Monarchs as they flew across the road.
On Monday, Oct. 29th, there were still some, in much smaller numbers, coming through.
Editor’s Note: We are estimating a minimum of 200 monarchs based on observer’s comment about “large numbers.”
