Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 11/05/2007

Number: 1

Wind out of south 10 to 15 mph since late morning, whitecaps on bay, high of 85 dF, mostly clear, barometer
30.05 and falling. Front past Dallas and has cleared the Panhandle, will probably take ten hours to get off the coast ... then a strong northeast wind.

Only two monarchs on the peninsula today, nectaring on short seaside goldenrod, not much left to nectar on.
Altus saw one monarch in Victoria this afternoon passing NE to SW.
