Signs of Fall

Date: 11/02/2007

Number: 1

It was beautiful day outside, the flowers were still blooming and I picked some for inside the house, that next morning we were hit with our first heavey frost - that brought most of the garden to an end. Then a front moved in with very cold strong winds. We live approx. 1 mile from the shores of lake Michigan,
the Lake keeps us warmer in the winter, and colder in the out lying areas.
We have Kwoi fish in a garden pond, and thier activity has also slowed down as thier appetites. With the cold dark windy mornings and nights we can't observe much, and the creatures are most likely hanging low. We can hear a hoot owl at night, but we still haven't found it's location. Keep warm and snug!
