At Trinity Nursey School, 72 children from five classes planted tulip bulbs. We had great fun digging holes, measuring the depth, planting with the pointy end of the bulb up and putting on one scoop of bone meal food. We liked covering the bulbs with a blanket of dirt for the winter and putting in a stick to mark the place. Someone found a block in a toy set that was shaped like a tulip bulb. Next week the pre-k class will cover the garden with mulch. We hope the squirrels don't find our tulip bulbs!
