Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 11/10/2007

Number: 1

Driving just North of Delton, Michigan in the rural farmland we sighted an enormous flock 300+ of whooping cranes in a bare cornfield. Passing the same location a few minutes later an individual had walked out into the field and the entire gathering of whooping cranes took flight. As we drove along the same general direction of the flocks we were able to watch them storm the skies with their many beautiful V formations for at least 2 miles.
