The second grade at Central School in Larchmont, New York planted 100 tulip bulbs near the entrance of our school - in a spot that receives full sun all day. Our class planted 21 of those bulbs. We each took the tulip bulb that we carefully observed, and planted them on 10/26. It was a rainy day, and we noticed that many earth worms were coming above the soil. We wondered how this would effect our tulip growth. We are looking forward to watching them bloom, and noticing the first signs of Spring!
