Signs of Fall

Date: 11/25/2007

Number: 1

200-300 Bohemian Waxwings sighted in three trees in my back yard scrambling for Crab Apples. According to my Field Guide Books I should only be seeing 1 - 3 birds. Project Feeder Watch reports that the Mountain Ash berries in the north were poor this year thus the birds are flocking south for food.
