Our fourth grade class finally planted the tulips on Friday, November 30, 2007. We all bundled up on this cold, but sunny day to plant our tulps before the ground froze. We had a great time digging up the hard soil and measuring the hole to make sure it was 7 inches deep. We carefully put our bulbs in the hole, so that the pointed part was facing upwards. Then, we covered our bulbs with soil and mulch. We ran inside to get warm as we aplauded ourselves for a job well done.
