Snowed and sleet last night. Three inches of snow and mixed percipitation occurred last night. Boston in the city usually escapes early snow as the ocean and the city is somewhat warmer. January is cold and colder as February brings snow alot. The lag of the seasons usually means a slow warm up in March.
