The kindergarten class of Ms. Natelege Turner enjoyed the reading of two books by "The Tulips Lady" a.k.a. Mrs. Margolis. The first book "Planting a Rainbow" by author Lois Ehlert shows the planting of bulbs in the fall and the second book was "When Will Spring Reach Your Hometown" by Elizabeth Howard. Mrs. Margolis explained the program and then the children bundled up to plant their tulips outside Giffen Elementary School. It was good we planted the tulips since 2 days later there is 6 inches of snow on the ground with more expected tonight.
