Mrs. Johnson's second grade class planted Red Emperor Tulips again at Giffen Elementary School. The children drew a picture of their tulip bulb and predicted when Spring would happen in Albany. They planted their tulips behind their classroom near some street trees. There is mostly pavement behind the s They loved finding worms and even found some tulip bulbs from last year. Mrs. Margolis had received the bulbs from the City Gardener and the children were able to take one bulbs home to plant whever they wanted to plant them.
