Rainy,stormy approximately 40-50 degrees. Pacific Nortwest Coastal area. Small populations of Aleutian geese are already arriving for a 4 month or so stay along their path on the Pacific flyway. Nearby redwoods are evergreen.Broadleaf, deciduous trees are bare. It is snowing in the mountains nearby and in some of the Redwood areas. Most apples have fallen from the trees by now. Grasses are dormant. Elk herd sightings frequent. Gray whales should be migrating by our area now-January.
