A young female Rufous Hummingbird was first seen visiting my feeders the last week of October 2007, after all the Ruby Throated hummingbird had migrated. On 02 December 2007, the bird was captured and banded in our yard by Terry Johnson and identified as a young female Rufous Hummingbird.The bird continues to come to our feeders amd was last seen at 8:05 A.M. on 7 Jan. 2008 at a window feeder.
