We planted bulbs at two sites. We planted 100 bulbs at the Urban Ministry garden to beautify the area in the spring for our homeless neighbors. We also planted 100 at our school in the butterfly garden. We are monitoring the soil temperature with a soil thermometer. We would like to compare the soil temperature here and other latitudes. We are in an extreme drought situation. This will probably impact the emerging of our bulbs.
